I’m thrilled to release So Wild A Dream – a new story set in 10th century Iceland, a land of ax-hewn justice and epic love.
We first saw the Viking farm called White Woods in Beautiful Wreck, when Ginn – a virtual reality artist from the 22nd century – tumbles back in time. In So Wild A Dream, a young woman named Eðna follows her, and this time, it’s no accident.
When writing a book, I like to immerse myself in research on a wonderful variety of things to help create an immersive sense of time and place. This book includes hypothermia, natural yarn dyeing, wood carving, enhanced reality, cloud formations, and gorgeous examples from the world’s catalog of bird species. I’ve woven details from this research into So Wild A Dream, and I hope you love the result.
About So Wild A Dream
Eðna Jonsdottir is on a mission. Touch down in 10th century Iceland, gather what she needs regardless of the consequences, and return to the 22nd century, becoming the world’s first time machine test pilot. Falling in love isn’t on the checklist.
Brosa Ulfsson is handsome, capable, easygoing – or he was until tragedy and grief swallowed him. Eðna coaxes him from the grave and wakens his forgotten dreams. But she has no intention of staying in his Viking world.
Svana is a young woman set on vengeance. With a curse and plea to the gods, she kindles the flames of an old feud and explodes everyone’s plans, driving Eðna to a fateful choice.
How far into the wilds of the past will Eðna go to save Brosa, when her own dreams hang in the balance?
So Wild A Dream is the first part of a two-book story, which is a companion story to the one in Beautiful Wreck. For those who want to read from the start, Beautiful Wreck is 99 cents through October 12th.
